Shuttle Press & Bindery
Established in 2014, Shuttle Press & Bindery creates handcrafted books and letterpress stationery. Located within Stonington, Connecticut’s historic Velvet Mill Building, Shuttle Press & Bindery has a working studio/shop that is open to the public.

Bank Square Books | Savoy | Title IX
Bank Square Books in Mystic, Connecticut, and Savoy Bookshop & Café in Westerly, Rhode Island, are locally owned, fiercely independent bookstores committed to providing quality books, ebooks, and audiobooks for all types of readers in addition to gifts, toys, and cards. Title IX is the third sister store under Bank Square Books and is located in New London, Connecticut.

Fiber + Mud
Lori Dziedzic is a farmer and textile dyer who grows indigo and other natural dye plants. She weaves with fiber donated by her herd of alpaca, and creates unique kiln fired ceramic buttons. She grows madder and weld along with indigo and hemp for the CBD properties. Her work can be purchased at farm markets, boutiques, and online.

Beer’d Brewing Company
An independent craft brewery based out of the American Velvet Mill in Stonington, CT, with a second facility in Groton, CT. Officially considered a Microbrewery, Beer’d produces a wide variety of brews each year – from tried-and-true favorites to experimental small batch brews.
